Comprising a brass cylinder, internal size 27 x 16mm diameter, with and integral V pulley in the base of the cylinder and a 6mm diameter steel shaft which fits into a bearing block. A vertical pillar carries the cork lined friction arms and thermometer support. Supplied without thermometer. Mounted on wooden base.
