ARCHIMEDES’ PRINCIPLE KIT

SKU: GI-P4004 Categories: ,

Description

This is designed to experimentally verify the principle of buoyancy. It demonstrates that the upward buoyant force on a submerged object is equal to the weight of the fluid it displaces. Consists of wooden block, newton meter, displacement vessel made of glass, beaker to collect displaced liquid. Supplied without base and rod.

Working Principle:

When the solid metal block is suspended in air, its full weight is measured on the spring balance. When submerged in water, it experiences an apparent loss in weight equal to the weight of the displaced water, demonstrating Archimedes’ Principle.
