Demonstrates thermal expansion. Comprising of two metal uprights, each standing at a height of 18 cm, supporting a 38 cm long expansion bar. It allows for the measurement of expansion with a scale reading from 0 to 90?. Different expansion bars made of aluminium, brass, and iron are included.
