Used to study acoustic resonance, standing waves, and speed of sound in air. Equipped with Speaker, Metric scale, Microphone and piston. Function generator can be used to operate the speaker and to create stable wave patterns at specified frequencies. While varying the length of the tube’s vibrating air column, standing wave patterns can be observed and nodes and antinodes can be located in either an open or closed tube. Waveforms can also be observed in detail on oscilloscope.
