To demonstrate the basic principles of capacitance and the influence of plate area, distance, and dielectric medium on capacitance. Comprises two circular metal discs, each fixed on an insulated handle and mounted on vertical pillars parallel to each other. The metal plates have a terminal at their back for electrical connection. The discs can be adjusted for altering distance between them. Complete assembly.
