To measure the angle of rotation caused by optically active substances. Durable metal body with corrosion-resistant finish and heavy-duty metal tripod base with a rigid support stand for stability. Circular scale graduated in degrees. Smooth rotation mechanism with locking arrangement for stable readings. Optical system consists of polarizer and analyser. Adjustable focusing eyepiece with cross-wire and telescope and collimator tubes for sharp image alignment. Monochromatic light is also provided depending upon buyer’s requirement (optional). This polarimeter used half shade device (one half glass and the other half quartz plate). Comes with polarimeter tube.

Note: Triple Shade Polarimeter is also available. It uses triple shade device (one half glass and other bi-quartz plate).
