Used in galvanic cells and electrochemical experiments. Comprises U-shaped borosilicate glass tube designed to hold an electrolyte. The U-shape allows immersion of both ends into separate electrolyte solutions of galvanic/electrochemical cells. Prevents direct mixing of solutions while maintaining ionic conduction between half-cells.
