This highly enlarged model of an idealized complete flower provides an excellent visual aid for studying pollination and fertilization in angiosperms. The model features three removable petals, three sepals, and five detachable stamens. The ovary is sectioned to display the seven-celled female gametophyte. It illustrates the stage just before double fertilization, where one sperm fertilizes the two polar nuclei to form the triploid endosperm, and the other unites with the egg to produce the diploid zygote. Each part is clearly numbered and comes with an English key card for easy identification and reference.
