Description

Used to demonstrate Charle?s Law, which states that the volume of a gas is directly proportional to its absolute temperature at constant pressure. With glass ?U? Tube with bulb, One end sealed with a round bulb to trap air, Other end open for connection to rubber tubing. Copper coil placed at the base of the water jacket used to circulate hot water or steam for uniform heating. The apparatus can be supported by a single clamp. Supplied with manual.

Working Principle: (NOT MEANT FOR CATALOGUE)

  • Air inside the bulb is trapped and its volume is measured as the temperature of the surrounding water changes.
  • Demonstrates the direct relationship: V ? T (at constant pressure).
