Description

Three-part model, representing an original bonelike female bony pelvis, accurately depicts all major anatomical details. It includes two hip bones, the pubic symphysis, sacrum, coccyx, and the fifth lumbar vertebra with intervertebral disc. A midsagittal section through the fifth lumbar vertebra, sacrum, and coccyx allows the pelvis to be separated into two halves, exposing a portion of the cauda equina within the vertebral canal. Additionally, the left half of the fifth lumbar vertebral body is removable for closer examination of internal structures.
