This model demonstrates the relationship between the respiratory and circulatory systems in clear detail. It can be separated into five parts, allowing complete access to internal structures. The larynx can be halved to show its internal configuration, while half of the left lung and the entire heart can be removed to reveal the trachea, bronchial tree, pulmonary arteries, and veins. The heart itself divides into anterior and posterior sections, showing all four chambers. Each component is hand-numbered and identified with an instructor?s key card. Made from durable, unbreakable plastic, the model is mounted on a sturdy base for demonstration use.
