To demonstrate the principle of electromagnetic induction and to generate high-voltage pulses from a low-voltage direct current (DC) supply. Primary coil is wound with thick enamelled copper wire and secondary coil with fine enamelled copper wire wound over primary coil. The coils are housed in wooden base. Adjustable dual spark terminals for visible spark demonstration. Built in make and break mechanism (interrupter) for automatic switching of current. Screw-type contact adjuster to vary performance. Input requirement 6-12V DC.
