To determine the mechanical equivalent of heat by electrical heating. It includes a complete insulated system with wooden housing for thermal retention and stability during experiments. Calorimeter made of aluminium with bakelite lid fitted with one hole each for thermometer and stirrer and two terminals for heating coil placed in wooden case with thermometer holder. Supplied with stirrer and outer vessel but without thermometer.
