Description

Designed for observing and measuring the ring patterns produced by interference of light (Newton’s Rings), used to determine the wavelength of light and the radius of curvature of lenses. A standard microscope having rack and pinion mechanism for vertical microscope movement with 30x magnification eyepiece with crosswire focusing via fine-thread screw arrangement. It travels 25mm can be read by vernier scale 0.01 mm, Horizontal micrometer screw with calibrated drum. The set consists of optical flat glass and Plano convex lens arranged inside metal case.  Condenser lens with adjustable mirror is provided. The whole instrument is supplied in wooden box.
