Searle’s pattern. Spirit level mounted on two cast iron rectangular frame, with one end resting on point of micrometer screw fitted in one frame to obtain vernier reading 0.01mm graduated accurately, the second end of spirit level is pivoted to second frame. The frames are fitted with self centering chucks. The micrometer is provided with vertical scale on either side of zero. Complete with ceiling bracket, self centering chucks and tension weight with case.
